Chad and I got to spend some great quality time with the kids during fall break. On one of the days Chad and Drew built a fort. Drew LOVED it!! They played doctor and read books in their fort. What sweet boys!

Happy Birthday Drew!

Drew had a great 3rd birthday. We celebrated on his actual birthday, September 23rd, at home. We had family over for some dinner and cupcakes. Drew decorated his own cupcake!

That Saturday we had his football birthday party. All his friends came dressed up as cheerleaders and football players. The cheerleaders couldn't keep their hands off of him!! :)

As an outlet for my creative energy I have started decorating lamps and lamp shades. I would love to do one for you!! Please let me know if you are interested in buying one from me. Each one is custom made. You tell me the colors you would like for me to use, if you would like it tailored or "froo froo", and what type of design you would like on the base. Of course if you don't have an idea of what you want I have plenty that I can share with you. The one pictured is for a little girl's room, but I have some great ideas for little boy's rooms and more grown up ones as well.

Where does the time go???

Seriously, where does the time go?!?!? I can't believe that my babies are this big! Drew is big enough and old enough to "hold" Lorelei and Lorelei finally has enough hair for a bow!! Slow down guys...the time is passing too fast!

Soccer with Daddy

Today after Chad got home the boys played soccer while dinner cooked. It was so sweet watching my two boys have so much fun. Drew was getting so tickled trying to get the ball away from Chad that Chad couldn't help but laugh as well. They were both genuinely having so much fun. Chad looked like a big kid out there and Drew loved every minute!

Sorry it has been so long since a blog...for some reason I have been REALLY unmotivated!

We have had a great summer! We spent most of it at the pool. Drew really enjoyed it and Lorelei was definitely a trooper. Most recently, Granddad, Mimi, Aunt Margaret and Aunt Anna came to visit. Here are some pictures from that weekend.

The sleeping arrangments somewhat resembled camp...it was fun though! Margaret, Anna and I slept in the master bed and Chad slept on the couch, Dad and Mary stayed at a hotel. I guess they weren't up for camp life :)

We also went to Savannah. Can you guess where we ate??? The Pirate House! It was really good. I sort of forget about the touristy things to do in Savannah. It was fun beign a tourist.
